SILVERTON, COLORADO- INBOUNDS AT ITS BEST

Get ready for a unique resort, side country and helicopter skiing adventure at Silverton Mountain. Unlike anything else in the country, there are no groomed runs, no cut trails, just loads of nature’s finest black diamond skiing. There is nothing better than Colorado powder in March.

The Adventure

Silverton provides access to over 29,000 acres of backcountry and helicopter skiing terrain in the pristine San Juan Mountains. Day one, we warm up with lift access and side country skiing followed by three days of helicopter skiing -- which includes six runs each day.

Guiding

Kim has been hosting heli-ski adventures around the world for over 30 years. Kim and the Silverton guides create a safe and controlled environment which allows you to work on skills and technique. Daily terrain progression will build confidence in powder and steeps. The lead guide from Silverton shows the way, while Kim is the tail guide, backing you up on every run. 

THE TOWN

The historic mining town of Silverton is located in a remote part of the western San Juan Mountains in southwestern Colorado. The town is less than 15 miles from seven of Colorado's 53 fourteen-thousand-foot peaks and is known as one of the premier gateways into the Colorado backcountry.

THE LOCATION

Located just one hour north of Durango (DRO), one hour south of Montrose (MTJ) and 6.5 hours south of Denver (DIA). Montrose airport is the best and easiest access.
